PRODUCTS
Raw Materials
POME
POME oil is a residual oil mixed with the wastewater generated as effluent from palm oil production at the extraction plant.
CHARACTERISTICS
Residual oil with high acidity and moisture content due to oxidation in industrial effluent treatment lagoons. Its characteristic color is dark reddish-brown.
MAIN USES
Primarily used for the production of biofuels, soap, fertilizers, and organic compost.
CERTIFICATIONS
The product is ISCC certified.
INSTRUCTIONS
Non-flammable product. In case of spillage, wash with water and detergent. Direct contact does not pose a health risk.
LEGAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
The product complies with all applicable national regulatory requirements and those applicable in destination countries.
CRUDE PALM OIL (CPO)
This product is extracted from the mesocarp of the palm fruit and its varieties through either mechanical or solvent extraction processes.
It is characterized by a balanced 1:1 ratio of palmitic acid to oleic acid, which provides excellent oxidative stability and eliminates the need for hydrogenation. Additionally, it contains high levels of vitamin A (carotenes) and vitamin E.
APPLICATIONS
Crude palm oil is used in its natural form as a raw material in the production of edible oils and fats (liquid oils and margarines), animal feed concentrates, soaps, biodiesel, and various other products. Due to its fatty acid composition, the oil can be fractionated into stearin and olein, each with multiple industrial applications.
PALM STEARIN
The stearin (solid at room temperature) is obtained by fractionating refined, bleached, and deodorized oil after a controlled-temperature crystallization process.
It is characterized as a trans-fat-free oil.
APPLICATIONS
Stearin is used in the formulation of margarines, bakery fats, and shortenings, as well as in industrial processes such as the production of cosmetics, soaps, detergents, candles, and lubricating greases.
CRUDE PALM KERNEL OIL (PKO)
This oil is extracted from the kernel of the oil palm fruit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) and its varieties through mechanical or solvent extraction processes.
APPLICATIONS
It can be used as a raw material in the manufacture of soaps, cosmetics, cleaning products, and in the oleochemical industry at large. Additionally, it serves as a substitute for coconut oil due to the similarity in their fatty acid composition. It is also used in the formulation of specialty fats for margarines, confectionery, ice cream, and other related products.
FATTY OILS
They are the result of blending of the assorted products in the proportions requested by the customer.
APPLICATIONS:
These products will have a variety of use pursuant to the customers’ plans. Most often, of use in the production of detergents.
SPECIAL BLENDS
These are byproducts of the physical refining of palm oil.
APPLICATIONS
They are used as raw materials in the manufacture of candles, textile dyes, soaps, and detergents. The calcium soaps derived from this product serve as a nutritional supplement in cattle feed. In the oleochemical industry, they are used as a base for the production of fatty alcohols and their derivatives.
REFINED PALM OIL (RBD)
This product is obtained from the mesocarp of the oil palm fruit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) and its varieties through mechanical or solvent extraction processes.
It then undergoes physical or chemical refining to remove free fatty acids, color, moisture, and impurities.
APPLICATIONS
Due to its fatty acid composition, the oil can be fractionated into stearin and olein, both of which have a wide range of industrial applications. Refined, bleached, and deodorized (RBD) palm oil is used in the production of edible oils and fats, mainly in the formulation of liquid oils, margarines, and specialty bakery fats. It is considered a versatile and stable raw material with high nutritional value.
Products Finished
MARGARINES AND SPREAD
Margaric fat is a blend of stearic and palmitic acids.
The hardening process involves modifying the melting point of the oil to achieve a specific solid fat profile through hydrogenation, interesterification, or fractionation.
APPLICATIONS
It is used in the production of margarines for spreads, creams, baking applications, and puff pastry.
DIETARY FATS (SHORTENING) SPECIAL FRIED FOODS
Dietary fat is a vegetable-based fat used for food applications.
It is a solid lipid at room temperature.
APPLICATIONS
Used as an ingredient for fried foods and other culinary preparations.
PALM OLEIN
It is obtained from the first fractionation of the oil following a controlled-temperature crystallization process, and subsequently undergoes bleaching and physical refining.
APPLICATIONS
Used as an ingredient in edible liquid oils, either in pure form or blended with other vegetable oils. Owing to its fatty acid composition, it is a highly stable oil at elevated temperatures, making it the preferred choice for industrial frying, as well as for a variety of dried and frozen foods. It is also used in margarines, creams, and confectionery products.
